“Staff were attentive, and very friendly. I came here for dinner and ordered the Vegetarian Pasta, and I really enjoyed it. I had the profitoroles for dessert, and would recommend to anyone. The meals arent too expensive, depending on what you order; but still affordable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing, casual but upbeat. Left the restaurant feeling very satisfied; I would definitely come back here again.”

"Visited here with some friends over here on holiday, the service was great and staff were very friendly and helpful even offering to take pictures for us and spending time making sure the photos were good.
Food was great we all ordered very different meals and eevryone enjoyed what they had. The deserts were of a good size and coffee was very good.
Overall it was a great experience I would definately return for another meal, good value and a lovely setting."

"Six of us dined at Aubergine Takapuna at the end of March 2010.There was a chilly wind on the street but inside was cosy.We asked to be seated inside but changed our minds as it was very busy,our change of mind was not a problem and were given a lovely table on the covered /heated patio.
The menu had many choices and the wait staff took our order and ensured the food was served on time. All were very happy with their meals.
The wine list suited the "buff"with us as well as those with more mundane tastes."
